Kirsty has a double Bachelor of Sports Management and Exercise Science (Human Movement) and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Taylor is a highly dedicated and accomplished Exercise Physiologist specialising in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. A graduate of Victoria University in 2017, Taylor holds a master’s degree in clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation and has been the senior exercise physiologist and owner of Empower Exercise Physiology for six years!

With a deep passion for improving the lives of individuals through targeted exercise interventions, Taylor has established himself as a leader in rehabilitation. His academic journey at Victoria University equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of clinical exercise principles, effectively allowing him to address complex musculoskeletal and neurological challenges.

A commitment to evidence-based practice and a relentless pursuit of excellence characterises Taylor’s professional journey. His expertise lies in tailoring exercise programs that promote physical well-being and enhance his clients’ overall quality of life. Through a patient-centred approach, Taylor empowers individuals to achieve optimal functionality and regain control over their health.

Beyond the professional realm, Taylor is a genuine enthusiast of downhill mountain biking, showcasing a dynamic and adventurous spirit. This passion reflects his commitment to an active lifestyle and highlights his understanding of the physical demands placed on the body in extreme sports. Such experiences contribute to his unique perspective in crafting rehabilitation strategies for clients with diverse interests and lifestyles.

Additionally, Taylor is a passionate basketball fan, demonstrating his appreciation for teamwork, strategy, and the importance of staying active through sports. This love for basketball serves as a reminder of the holistic nature of health and wellness, extending beyond clinical settings into recreational activities.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Taylor Holmes is dedicated to staying at the forefront of advancements in exercise physiology and rehabilitation. Kirsty has a double Bachelor of Sports Management and Exercise Science (Human Movement) and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Kirsty specialises in exercise rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries, osteoarthritis and falls prevention. She also has a special interest in sports specific training and general strength and conditioning.

In her spare time, Kirsty enjoys staying active by going to the gym and taking her two dogs out for a walk. She also likes the occasional brunch, while planning her next overseas adventures.

Seeing someone improve their mental and physical health and achieving their goals by something as simple as exercise is so rewarding. Being able to do something today that they wouldn’t have thought possible last week is the reason I love what I do”.
